Denmark: Teaching in Copenhagen:
I was recently at a JobCenter, and the guy I had an appointment with, said to look at the job page of the Kommune you want to work within, and make direct contact with the school/s that are advertising.
Denmark: Short-term home rentals? With cats?:
Hej Folks,
Assuming all goes well, husband and I would want to buy a home in Denmark. But on arrival, I'm assuming we'll need to rent for a while as we look around for something.
Do short-term house/flat rentals exist in Denmark? Or is it 6-month, 1 year+?
And generally speaking, are the homeowners open to renting to responsible folks with cats? For example, we'd be happy to pay for professional cleaning as we move out, pay an extra deposit, etc.
Thank you for your thoughts on this.
Denmark: Moving my dog to dk:
Would I be right in thinking it's the same for cats from the UK?
Thank you. (And sorry if I should have started a new question, this is my very first post!)
Denmark: HR Admin Jobs in Denmark:
Hi, I'm in the EU and looking to make a move to Denmark.
Even being an EU citizen, I recognise that it would be easier for a Danish employer to employ a Dane. So I am looking at Danish skill shortages, and seeing how I can fit within those. The Danish government has a list here: https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_to_dk/work/positivelist/positive_list_overview.htm
I have also started learning Danish on DuoLingo, and have started a MeetUp group to learn about Denmark, Danish culture, and in time, practise speaking Danish. Basically, I am doing/going to do everything I can to make myself useful to Denmark, rather than saying "this is me/my history, what can you do for me".
I hope my thoughts are helpful :-)
