Russia: Audio engineers in Russia:

Hello. I have not begun studying yet, but when I do I plan to do Music Technology to become an audio engineer/technician. For those that don't know this would be for jobs like gigs/festivals/performance companies that need an engineer for the sound setups etc., and would also cover things like working in recording studios or even the sound engineering for television companies etc. What I'd like to know is if it would be quite possible for me to get a job in that field in Russia. I love the language and will learn it hopefully being somewhat fluent before I go, and would very much rather settle in with the locals. I would very much want to work at getting citizenship eventually, but how attainable is a work visa for an Australian resident that has no family or friends in Russia? Also, what would be the best places for this kind of work? I would assume Moscow for a number of reasons, but I would rather place myself in a smaller, less Westernised Russian city. Thanks.
