Bulgaria: New arrivals in Eastern Rhodopes:

A warm hello to you all, We just wanted to introduce ourselves as Greg and Laura (UK and Italy) who have just landed in Gorno Pole, just south of Haskovo near to Madzharovo in the beautiful Eastern Rhodope mountains. We were lucky to spend some time in this area at the start of the year and now we are back on the ground to secure some land and set down some roots. We would love to hear from anyone relatively nearby (we understand this area is a little off the expat trail) and connect with you for advice and support both ways :) We're at the stage of seeing land and dancing the delicate sales dance with local owners at present and in the next days we hope to make some real progress.
