Sweden: Personal number !!!:

Hi I've just moved over to north Sweden to live with my girlfriend, I want to learn the language but need a personal number from the tax office, to get that I have to , have a job or get married or prove I can self support, well I don't have a job as I'm on a six month break from job in uk to see how it works out here, but to prove self support I've given them my bank and saving details, a letter of support from my girlfriend but they was proof of comprehensive health cover, and as I'm not working here I can't afford private healthcare as its over £200 a month, I can't get through the red tape unless we get married which we don't want to do to get a tax number that's wrong but any advice would be great, I'm trying to self learn but it's hard and a class would be great, bloody red tape, can anyone help !!!
