Nicaragua: 2 month stay:

Hello everyone, I am planning to come to Nicaragua in September and would like to stay for about two months. I am wondering if anyone could give me advice or point me in the right direction in regards to where to stay and the cheapest options available. I would like to be near the beach, however if cheaper options exist in León, Granada or another city, I am open to staying there as well. I'd like to see the country but have a "home-base" to come back to. Many thanks!
