I think that everyone rethinks the aging population dilemma. In my opinion ,observation and research we all need to create communities where we take care of each other as long as possible. Integrating all the services available to seniors into there communities and way of life.

Ecuador Welcome Forum: Looking for an on the ground Guide:

I am very interested in settling down in Ecuador. I am a 59 year old male ,divorced ,grown kids and am looking for a final destination. I live a modest lifestyle and am a minimalist. My preference is to live on the ocean but would like to explore the mountains as well. Part of my plan is to find a occupation/maybe start my own business just for minimal income. I will be sailing for part of the year. I am open to providing some senior companionship ,non medical ,in exchange for housing and do have references in the states. I am expecting to visit in Sept or Oct for a few weeks and would like to meet folks in there community,maybe even someone to take me around. Thanks for your help and suggestions
