Mexico: Paying income tax in Mexico:

I read today in a few articles on the Mexico government taxation sites etc. Double taxation for a full time resident from the US owning their primary home in Mexico. I would pay 30% income tax in the US and 30% again in Mexico. Plus being retired my social security would be double taxed in the US and Mexico. I wanted to move to Lake Chapala buy primary home as a year round resident. If a person is not a permanent resident or has a primary home in another country US Canada etc. isn't required to pay the income tax on monies coming into Mexico. Belize and Costa Rica An expat is exempt from all income tax and retirement income too. Nor do they have a capital gains tax where Mexico is very high up to 30%.
