For the last couple of years I have kept a pretty active blog on Moving Back to Jamaica after 21 years of living in the U.S. It has been a mixed bag of experience, and much tougher for my wife who has lived in the US since she was 9. I have tired to record my experiences with fresh eyes (which has not always been possible) but my wife will, for example, point out a goat, dog, cat, pig, cow or chicken in the road and point out to me that she never saw any of that in the road in Washington DC.... And of course she is right.
