Bahamas: Youth sports leagues, social and security:

Hello, we are moving to the south west part of new providence in September and are wondering about youth sports leagues for our children aged 9, 11 and 13. They played soccer and basketball back home. I heard that the schools don't all have sports teams but that it was played at a club level instead? We also played on a mixed O35 team at home do they have that type of soccer league for the parents? How safe would it be for is to join these leagues, will we end up playing games late at night in shady areas of the island? Thanks for the help, we are very active people at home, children in sports almost every night of the week and we also play 2-3 times a week. My wife is worried we will get bored in Bahamas with the relaxed style of living. Also worried about safety concerns for her and our children.
