Slovenia: Estate agent recommendation:

Hi, Cant help you with a specific estate agent for coastal regions but this website covers the whole of Slovenia. Select English language at the top of the web page then search the region you are interested in. Good luck.

Slovenia: Is Slovenia Expat friendly:

Hi, Slovenia is a beautiful but small country. English is generally spoken by the younger generations as a second language which they learn at school. You won't have too Much trouble if you live in the main cities of Ljubjiana, Maribor or Celje. You will struggle in the rural towns and villages. Slovene is a difficult language to learn but you'll soon pick up the day to day words just from travelling/living there. People are generally very friendly and there is little crime. The economy is one of the strongest amongst the Slavic countries. We find it very cheap to live here compared to the UK. As for recommending where to live I would advise travelling around and getting a feel for country before moving here. The landscape is beautiful from the stunning mountains and lakes in Goriska/Gorenjska regions to the flat lowlands of pomurska. There is lots of information on the internet, and we found our little favourite places by travelling around and going off the beaten track. It's a stunning country. Good luck!
