Please Contact Rurals boarding schools like St David's Girls High, Private Bag T7904, Mutate Zimbabwe. Such schools often provide accomodation, but you will get to experience the real challenges of teaching in rural mission schools.

Hi, I am Zimbabwean. I have been living in The Netherlands since January 1995. My x-husband and I bought our first house when we went home on holiday in 1996. I bought the second house after looking at houses on sale on line. Google "Estate Agencies in Harare"...find something of your choice with any of them & then call the agency. If you have someone that can represent you locally the better. I have two college girl friends that helped with the process of buying my second house for me. You can use a law firm like Hone & Blakenburg, etc. I guess I am just daring. I acquired a flat in South Africa in the same manner! I hope that helps... Cheers, J.

I have a four bedroomed house for rent in Harare, Marlborough, just a few metres from Mt. Pleasant. House available as of 01/04/2008. The location is easily accessible to the Harare International school and Gateway primary and secondary schools. Four bedrooms on one acre, with recently renovated swimming pool, plenty of borehole water for use both in and outside the house, security system with possibility of reaction team. Rental 600 US $ per month after uprading.

It offers four bedrooms, living room and dining room, Borehole water connected to water mains and pumped through the house for use both in and outside, security system for both the perimeter(yard) and the house itself with possibilty of security reaction team, recently renovated and working swimming pool. The house is situated in a close close to a medical centre in Marlborough, right on the boarder with Mount Pleasant.I am looking at a rental equivalent to 300 US dollars per month. If we agree for you to pay me the equivalent amount in Euros where I live your rent is fixed at that rate for the rest of the year. I am also looking for employment in Zimbabwe. With the current brain drain there should be opportunities. The bottomline is-do you need to live off that job or are you looking for something to keep you sane while you make a contribution to Society? If you have savings you can easily live off those and find your way around...may be even start up your own business...for Shools look at St Johns Prep School ( Borrowdale), Harare International School, Gateway & St Georges if you are looking within Harare... I hope this is helful. Please send me tips if you have any. I have been abroad for 13 years and may need to back to Zim now.
