Oman: Possibly moving to Oman:

Hi I was just wondering if anyone can give me some advice.In the next possible 6 mths my husband maybe moving to Oman for his new job.Can anyone please tell me what its like living out there...housing...food etc is it expensive...where is there to go out..(am 24 and my husband 28) Also any private beaches etc we can join....just all the general...have been to Dubai and is Oman the same or is it all building work also...
