Hello, I am looking for a criminal lawyer (abogado penalista), one who knows about penal law, in La Paz. I do need a recommendation due to the number of crooks there are out there. He DOES NOT have to speak English. Please recommend one if you know one. Thank you

Bolivia: Living in Bolivia:

There are many ex-pats living in Bolivia but, for some reason they are uncommunicative with others. It could be because of the wide variety of places they come from and they do not identify with each other apart from the facy that they are foreigners too. I find it frustrating that I have not found a forum where there are many of them exchanging information

Hello, I want to start the process to apply for residence in Bolivia. Can people please recommend me a good lawyer who is good at this and is reliable and 'easy to find on the phone'. Also, how do they charge here, by the hour or by case and what is the typical charge. What is the government office that deals with immigration? I will need to find out about extending my tourist visa while I apply for the residence one. Thank you.
