Scotland: Moving to Aberdeen:

My lady friend and I are considering moving to Scotland sometime in the next few years or sooner if possible. We are most interested in the Highlands (Ft Williams to Mallaig) or Isle of Skye but open to anything right now. Children are grown, we're 51 and 48, intelligent, active, love the outdoors. We have capital to purchase, start, or buy into an existing business but we'd also look at seasonal work too. Any suggestions where to start?
