Japan: New kid in town.:

Hello: I my name is Chris. My family and I moved to Tokyo this past June. We moved here for a one year assignment with my wife's job. I am a stay at home dad and thought I would take some online classes that have proven to be more of a daily frustration than a help. I do not speak Japanese so doing pretty much anything seems 1000 times more difficult than it should be. I was wondering if there was anyone on this site that is in my shoes and if so how did/do you deal with it. Being a paramedic back home I am not use to the feeling of anxiety that I am feeling. Any thought or pointers are much welcome
