Hi Eliz - and welcome. Not sure where you are from, but there are cultural differences that you will encounter. Please know that many in banks might respond in the polite Thai manner of saying "yes" to near anything. Be patient. I use Kasikorn and find them excellent for wire transfers. I also only use a CC from my home country. Car insurance should be straight forward, but always buy first class... baby sitter ask in your building... If there is anything of importance in a bank, try and get a confirmation from a manager, though they can be incorrect at times too.
