Spain: General information:
I am due to retire in less than a year. I plan on traveling, and possibly staying in different locations for up to a month or more at a time. Spain is on my list of places to visit. That being said: Can someone tell me in general how likely it is to travel on a budget as far as hotels, apartahotels, local cuisine, etc... ? I realize, some places are cheaper than others, but I'm just trying to get a ballpark daily budget. I don't require fancy hotels, and tend to be drawn to the smaller basic places that are clean and safe. I speak pretty good Spanish and would prefer to stay off the beaten track and away from larger cities. That might serve to lower costs a little, right? I'm guessing that someone out there might be asking what that daily budget is---so lets say $50-$75 usd for starters. Is that reasonable, or laughable? Thanks in advance for any responses.
Costa Rica: Project FI by Google:
Any CR expats out there that have tried Project FI by Google as a cell service? It advertises that it can be used in 135 countries which eliminates the need for a local sims card. I've watched some youtube reviews, but all have been at the domestic US level.
Colombia: Project FI by Google:
Thank you!!!
Costa Rica: 90 day border jumpers:
Lets say that someone wanted to spend a month in Costa Rica once a year. IMO it wouldn't make sense to obtain residency. Would the Costa Rican government have an issue with that amount of time? This forum at times reads like the gov is cracking down on border jumpers.
Costa Rica: Dentists in San Jose:
There is a lengthy forum on Tripadviser that is still on-going about dental implants. Lots of information on who to use and who to avoid. I am researching also for a couple of implants. So far I kinda like Kriebel and Nova. Meza dental had a confusing estimate and they were the most expensive.
Costa Rica: English Teacher Job:
I assume if a person is retired and didn't need the money, they could volunteer teaching english? I imagine as long as you weren't compensated, there would be no violation of the law.
