Philippines: Visa for the Philippines?:

I am still a couple of years away from the possible planned move to the Philippines for retirement, I have been doing a ton of research but one topic I am having difficulty finding information on is; assuming I fly in and obtain Tourists Visa, extended a few times and decide to stay. After satisfying all of the residency requirements for the Special Resident Retiree's Visa can I apply while I am still in the Philippines or do I have to return to my own country first? Anyone have any help on this topic? Thank you.

Philippines: Moalboal:

I have been doing a lot of research on possible areas to move to and Moalboal seems to come up often as Scuba Diving is a large part of what I am looking for. Does anyone live in that area? I'd love some opinions.

Philippines: Scuba locations:

My wife and I are retiring in a couple of years and the Philippines is one of the possibilities to investigate. We are both scuba divers and would like this to be part of our regular weekly lifestyle. Any suggestions on where might be some good areas to begin researching? We lived in the Caribbean for awhile and love the shore diving possibilities as we have all our own equipment and didn't have buy a seat on a dive boat. So areas that might have shore diving would be the first choice but not exclusively. Thanks!
