Fiji: advice needed for relocation:

hello, i read all the reply regarding moving to Fiji,, i am in the same process and was hoping someone could answer a couple of questions that i was stuck on, as you have probably gathered i am in the process of moving to fiji myself, my name is Bianca and i am an Australian citizen hoping to move to fiji by the end of this year or start of 2008, i have recently sent my resumes over to fiji just to local resorts and backpackers hostels, i am leaning at moving either to lautoka or Nadi,, i do like lautoka just that little bit more though!! i am now in the process of looking at working visas and residential permits, im finding working visas a big problem, i can not find the correct information via the internet, i was hoping you could help me with this, does Fiji allow holiday working visas? And if so would you have any idea how i obtain one? If not, how do i go about applying for a working visa? i went into the city last week to foreign affaires and they told me i may have to fly into Canberra to obtain a working visa?? if you have any knowledge or are able to help me in any way,, it would be muchly appreciated.
