Morocco: For Beginning New Life in Morocco:

i have been in Casablanca for the last 6 weeks. I speak only English and i have had a hard time here communicating on a daily basis. You will need to find someone you can trust who will be able to assist you on a daily basis, since doing business here or even daily life can be complicated, that is more complicated than in the US. I am not sure about getting a job, but I imagine that without speaking French or Arabic it would be quite difficult unless you are doing something online.

Morocco: Moving to Morroco from usa:

if you are living in the city, then for sure get a driver. the taxi's only cost about $1-2 per local trip. driving here is insane and not recommended unless you are great at playing video games... just know that you should start by asking for the meter until you get the hang of the prices. some drivers will try to take advantage of foreigners and charge $5 instead of $1. if you take a car for the entire day, say 9 AM until 6 PM you should not pay more than $100-120, unless you are travling outside the city limits. Casablanca to Marrakech is about $150 inlc. tolls.

Morocco: Morocco Satellite Internet:

I am looking to move to a quiet village outside of city limits but I need internet access and VoIP for work. The only way for me to get that would be through a Satellite provider. If anyone has any experience or provider to recommend that would be great!
