About freebreezin

I am blessed! I am turning 59 in 2 days. I have a Lhasa-Poo who is 2 in Nov. I can not stand living in the adult community that I have been in for 4 years. I have NO FAMILY, NO FRIENDS, NO SUPPORT SYSTEM. I am disabled with chronic depression, anxiety, and a few other issues. I am going crazy in this environment and felt like I had no where to turn. NOW I HAVE HOPE. I will be moving ABROAD (by the grace of God), thanks to the Lord putting the thought in my mind and all the info I have scanned thus far. I am kind, big hearted, outgoing (when depression isn't ruling me) lonely beyond words and have lived in NJ, USA most of my life.

Advice for New Expats

I am a newbie at this so my only words of advise are this: DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AND CAREFULLY RESEARCH AND PLAN THOROUGHLY.

I would love to live in...

Belize (too expensive for me)

SunsetSteve, why not tell us the lawyer. It's like you are holding out over the heads of those less fortunate. I am looking to Panama (or Costa Rica)as my retirement haven and future home country. If you really want to help will you provide the specifics of your lawyer please?

Global Expat Forum: Where to Retire:

WOW! Great sound advice. I have been looking at moving abroad the wrong way! I do not have a retirement fund s I am very limited to moving to the next place, etc. I intend to visit 3 places of interest when the time comes. I will be 59 in 2 days but have been on Disability since 1999. And yes, loaded with credit card debt for various reason some stupid on my part. One thing you donot touch on is what to move vs buy when you get there. I suppose that depends on the locale but I need that information with limited fund consisting of my Pension (amount unknown for 3 more years) and my Social Security of $1565.00. I am completely alone and will be when I move most likely.
