Panama: with the friendly visa how does bringing your personal items work?:

I keep hearing you can bring certain items and up to a certain amount. But how does this all work? You have to wait for residency to be approved first too, correct, so you have to store the stuff? And are you putting it on a container in Miami or anywhere? We are moving to Bocas. So it would go likely from our original destination to Miami to Panama City to Bocas correct? We have to figure in those prices I assume? Can we just buy new stuff in Miami and have it shipped? Or in Panama city and have it shipped to Bocas to save all those transport fees? Just wondering? Any info would be great! And what about bicycles or scooters or cars?

Panama: My experience in Panama Residency.:

An attorney that I spoke with said I had to be their first to start the process. Is this correct? Or can I get the finger prints and FBI report started now while I am still in the US? We plan to go to Panama by New Years and start the residency process. Also what did your attorney charge if you do not mind me asking for the whole process?

Panama: Bringing a pet to Panama:

Hello we have a 12 yr old doxie we would like to bring down with us. We keep hearing different things of what is needed. Is there one place with the actual info? Also we are making her a service dog for my medical condition. Does anyone know what the procedure is for this (if any different)? We are hoping she goes on the plane versus cargo. We are afraid she is too old to make the flight in cargo. We are wanting to take Copa. But are any other airlines better for traveling with pets? Thanks!

Panama: Relocating to Panama how does buying ticket work?:

Hi we are relocating to Panama and will be filing residency papers. But I noticed you can not go one way to Panama. Do we just pick the cheapest return since we are going to eat the fare since we are not returning?

Thailand: Coming to Thailand as US citizens for few mos from Panama:

Hello we will be Coming to Thailand as US citizens for few mos from Panama sometime early Feb and plan to stay for at least 4-8 weeks. How does the visa work? Is there any special thing we need to do besides the paperwork you normally fill out on the plane before you land? And does coming from Panama make a difference? I think we will be flying thru NY anyway.. And can we buy a one way ticket and decide when to go back or do we have to have a return ticket upon entrance to Thailand? Panama: question about buying plane tickets for relocation:

Hi we are relocating to Panama. We are going for a month and then going to Thailand for 2 months and then coming back to Panama to stay and get our residency. I am not sure how to book our tickets. Can someone help? We will be in Panama approx Dec 28 thru approx Feb 1st. Then Thailand for 5-8 weeks and then back to Bocas when the high season is over. I know you can't enter countries without return tickets and I don't want eat more than one ticket into Panama on which I am not returning (once residency papers are filed). Can someone help answer this?
