Panama: Precious Metals Buy and Store:

Is there a place to buy and store (an independent vault) in Panama? I heard there is a new vault in Panama Pacifico. I don't think Perth Mint has a dealer there anymore. Does anyone have any information? Thank-you as always.

Panama: "Safest" Area to Live in Panama:

I know this is a very vague and relative question. We have lived in a Latin country for 5 years so we are not naive or ignorant about crime. We will be moving to Panama with an in-home business (computer and business equipment) that needs to be secured. A higher elevation is much better for us. Our first choice is El Valle but we have heard that crime is increasing quite a bit there. We were also considering Chica, Cermeno or Buenos Aires / Altos area. Any thoughts form the group? I appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Panama: Private Driver / Translator:

We are coming to Panama in February with 6 people and would like to hire a private van with a driver / translator to travel from PC to beaches area, El Valle, etc. Probably for about 3 days total time. Does anyone have a suggestion for either a service that can provide both or a bilingual driver / translator? Thank you for your help.

Panama: customs duties container NO RESIDENCE VISA:

Can a person import used household goods into Panama without a Residency VISA? If so, are there customs / import duties? Thanks!

Panama: Friendly Nations VISA 2016:

Has anyone gone through the Friendly Nations VISA process recently? I am interested in the time frame since apparently you cannot bring in a container of household goods until the VISA is approved. Thank you.

Does anyone know the cost range for pool construction? Also, there is a company in Panama Pacifico that manufactures and creates custom kits with SIP panels (EPS). I believe the name is Composite Pacifico. Has anyone used their products? Thank you!
