China: Loving Beijing:

Hi Without being reverted to the Mimim reference (no insult intended but I have read all books). I would be grateful to hear from any British/American expats to say whether or not they actually enjoy living in Beijing and do they consider it better or at least equal to what they left behind?

China: Moving to Beijing?:

Hi my husband has been offered a job in Beijing, we have two children (girls) and obviously this would be a huge step for us and rather scary at the moment, still in the deciding stage - we live in England. What sort of money would you need to earn to have a good standard of living in Beijing and does anyone have any comments about the place - there is a possibility he could get work in Hong Kong instead. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
