Dominica: where in dominica:
Where in dominica would be good places to be for someone who loves warm, calm waters, local tropical fruits, nature, peace and pleasant company...have been in Dominican republic, but not dominica yet, still living in working in a rural area in the u.s., but when the nights start getting colder, I begin thinking of someplace warmer...any suggestions for a first visit?
Dominican Republic: areas with calm water:
are there other areas in the Dominican that have the warmth and calm and quiet beautifully colored waters of punta cana or bayahibe areas...what is it like around las terrenas or other areas of samana peninsula, are the waters calm and safe enough for children, are they rougher, colder, windier? thanks!
Dominican Republic: how to begin looking:
have been to puntacana several times, and bayahibe area once...love being there, may be travelling there for a couple of weeks this winter, still living and working in u.s. ... how can I begin to get an idea of what possibilities are for someone thinking of living in the dr...what is possible near punta cana....and if I wanted to see the samana peninsula, how to get there, is there an easy way from puntacana...and where to look there...I love the warmth of the people, the calm ocean waters, blue skies and tropical fruit...always feel good when I am there...experiences in the countryside have been limited to having a driver for a day, but have always enjoyed
