We have lived in Thailand for almost a year. We have a retirement visa. The prices are great and the cost of living is low. It is quite hot and since my children live in the US I would like to be a bit closer. We live in a trendy area now and we are looking to be able to walk to restaurants, shops, cafes and live close to the beach. Where would you suggest? We are in our late 50's but not old - very mobile and energetic. Our friend suggested Monte Gardo - just not sure - would love some suggestions. Thank you
