Mexico: Ajijic La Huerta???:

RVGringo, which question were you answering? I had a while back asked you what you thought of San Antonio?

Mexico: visa:

Check with your local consulate. I have looked it up in the past. They look at all sources of income and assets, What I read was about $1000 a month per individual in income.

Mexico: f/n over whelmed ?:

There is a lot to moving and choices. Break it down into parts and make a list. If you try to solve it all at once you will overwhelm yourself. Also make a list of why you want to move, pros and cons.

Mexico: HIV Med Costs/Health Insurance:

I don't know about the cost of hiv medications in particular, but most meds are less than copays in the U.S.

Mexico: chapala:

Check out the lake Chapala Society. Probably the best sidewalks I saw around were in Lake Chapala itself. Ajijic is great, but a lot of cobblestone and uneven sidewalks.

Mexico: Moving family to Mexico:

Sometimes I think of buying a house in Mexico is important because family may needs to escape the chaos Trump is capable of creating and seems to enjoy..

Mexico: high speed internet in chapala:

Good to know

Mexico: Retire in Lake Chapala Area:

El pequena I never heard of that one. Who is doing the 5 day tour?

Mexico: Ajijic Questions:

As far as I could see in Ajijic all the streets except the carreterra were cobblestone. Toilet paper flushed down toilets.. there is a Walmart in neighboring San Antonio and lots of bodegas. There is a large Superlake store that most North Americans like. Not far away in Chapala are drug stores.

Mexico: Place to live with cool climate??:

Sounds like a great combination
