Italy: 90 days out of every 180?:
omg. i just realized i may have broken the law. i thought i could come to italy from the u.s. for up to 90 days per visit.
but since january 1 i have come to italy several times, totaling more than 110 days at least and counting. i an in italy now, and i plan to leave in a few days and return for new year's but will they allow me to come in?
does anyone know the law on this? or the fine? or what they will do when i show up in rome on my next return?

i am 66 and i am getting social security and medicare, which its deducted automatically every month from social security auto deposited to my checking. i will be moving to italy in march 2017. how do i get health care insurance in italy? do i need to cancel my medicare in the U.S., then buy international health care insurance?
Italy: codice fiscale:
i think this is the equivalent of a social security number in usa. i have been told i need one to rent a house or to get healthcare services, though i have full healthcare as a usa retiree.
anyone know about this codice fiscale and how do i get one?
thanks

Italy: Italian Visa for US Citizen:
I am a retiree moving to Italy and I need a Long-term Visa so I can rent a home. I currently live in San Francisco where there is an Italian consulate so I can ask them, but any special advice or key info from this forum that may not otherwise be clear from the government clerks?
