Switzerland: swiss residency:

My Swiss son lives and works in Spain. I am USA citizen living in El Salvador. Can my son apply for Swiss residency for me? He is 37 I am 67.

El Salvador: kimchi:

Is there a Korean grocery store in San Salvador? Or someplace with kimchi? I am also looking for an organic store for flour, oil, cornmeal.

El Salvador: Racist country:

Part of the reason is historical. The Caribbean coast touches all the Central American countries except El Salvador. African slaves were off loaded in each of those countries. El Salvador did not reveive African slaves and there are very few blacks in the country. With no blacks to watch and experience, people tend to use cliche when talking about them. This is also true in the USA where no blacks live. People here look down upon Indians. That is a consequence of colonial times when Indians were slaves and colonos (landless peasants living on plantations). Status was conferred according to skin color,,white skin and blue eyes were the most desirable.
