Bulgaria: best villages around the VT area:

Hi me and my wife are thinking about moving to Bulgaria from the UK . We will be taking a holiday next year to get a feel of the place . We had found a house but on contacting the local estate agent they have advised against it as its in the village of Gorski Dolen Trambesh and unfortunately its a gypsy village and would maybe be unsuitable . My question is which villages are suitable ? Many Thanks Kev
