I believe that Greece is good for you,west Pelopenese is actually rather tropical,golden sand etcc,you could go for the "Golden Visa deal 250.000 spent on a house here gets you great perks,they have upgraded so that it will also include the option of bringing along close relatives as well,have a look,Spain and Portugal also have the Golden Visa deal but I think the price of property has to be 500.000 No humidity here,yes there are seasons but thats lovely actually, you enjoy to see the spring,the return of nature,its a joy,the blossom.Despite all you may read of the troubles here its still a great place to be,crime is low and the food is real and wonderful,lots of ingredients to get cracking in the kitchen,if you are financially secure its a great place to be and so very beautiful.

You need to be very careful that the person selling is the real owner,a lawyer will confirm this when you show them title deed copies from the owner.Always use a lawyer for this,make sure the property is not so old that it doesnt have columns for earthquakes,your lawyer will check if there are any illegal additions or violations of the original licence and planning permit.Most property here if its a bit older will have some violations and if its not picked up on by a legal person then the new owner may pay a penalty down the line .one off or yearly and or may have to pull the property down,there are many potential dangers here but a good lawyer will advice you and check over all the papers and go to the local planning department for verification of its legal status.
