Panama: Trustworthy Real Estate Agent(s):

Lorna Culnane of Try Panama in Coronado is an excellent person to do business. I met her at the 2016 Live and Invest Overseas (LIOS) conference and stayed in touch with her. I will get my permanent pensionado visa in June, thanks to the Abogada she recommended, and during my three-week visit last month, she showed me properties EXACTLY fitting my needs and wishes...now I must sell my US home so I can purchase one of them ?? Lorna LISTENS to your needs and hopes and doesn't waste your time suggesting/showing properties which don't match them. She is well connected and doesn't "hide the dirt" which DOES exist...in Panama as well as every other country. She and her husband and son are British. PM me if you'd like more info.

Panama: 63 Year=Old Woman:

I am a seventy-year-old widow and will have my permanent pensionado visa in June. I feel completely safe traveling in Panama. My dogs and cats will make the permanent move with me. The only difficulty I have with Panama is the incredibly high property tax, which is 2.1%, so I am planning on building a home to take advantage of the property tax exemption.

Panama: Panama Visa Papers - Stand in for Apostille?:

Yes you can mail it in, but there is a fee for Apostilled documents. It is $30 per document and must be paid by a certified check or money order to the Panamanian Consulate General's.
