Hi All, I'm preparing my visa application forms and I know a personal guarantor is no longer required because there is the new insurance in place, but how do I go about getting info on setting that up or paying for it? Thanks in advance! Kat

Dominican Republic: Marriage to my Dominican boyfriend:

For both of you, US and UK, you need to be researching immigration visas in your respective countries. For the US, once you are legally married in DR, you can petition to have your spouse come to the US on an immigrant visa and begin the lengthy immigration process if he wants to live in the US permanently. If he just wants to visit, then you should apply for a visitor visa. I don't know how immigration works in the UK. Hope this helps a little. Kat
