Malaysia: Dependent pass process:

Hi everyone! I will be working in KL as an ESL teacher and will be sponsored with an employment pass. My husband is an experienced chef who is hoping to find a job in the area. However, I was wondering what the process for applying for a dependent visa for him is, in the case that he does not find a job in the 90 day time range. I know there are certain requirements (such as making at least 5000), which I do meet. Is this something I can apply for or would my company have to do it?
