India: Moving to Chennai : need some advice:

Hi, I work for a European multinational and they are proposing that I move to chennai for a few years. I know India a bit, but not chennai, so any advice much appreciated : I want a luxury furnished house or aprt with pool : can someone give me an idea of cost and where to find these ? any websites ? Is there any nightlife ? Are there many expats ? What can my wife do ? This would be her first time as an expat wife, so not easy. Apart from that, any general advice on what to do on weekends, practical tips etc will be great
