Guatemala: Pacific side around Port of SanJose:

Hello All! I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to some decent information about the area around Port of San Jose. I'm not entirely sure what to call the region but we would like to relocate (eventually) to oceanfront property and there is a 70ish km stretch that seems to have plenty of properties along it and I highly suspect some amazing deals based on how I know many of Guatemelas developments have been grossly overbuilt and undersold. Specifically I'm seeing what I assume is vacation properties for people from Guat City along about a 70km stretch. The other areas that I am interested in I have had no issues at all finding info but for some reason there seems to be a info void on this area. specially what I'm after is approx. COL for the region, is there any sort of an expat community around there, hospitals, real estate prices (actual prices not internet Gringo pricing). I'm trying to narrow down my list to 10 places to spend a few months at, and right now my list sits at WWWAAAY more than that. Any help on sites is appreciated. Chulamar and Montrrico I think interest me the most so far from the bit I have been able to learn.
