Mexico: Bringing pet reptiles to Mexico:

This may have been discussed before, but does anyone have any experience bringing (importing) pet reptiles into Mexico from another country? Information about this online is scarce. Most of the info is about cats and dogs, not reptiles. And those that mention reptiles say basically "talk to (someone else) about it". The department responsible for this appears to be SENASICA, but their website is too confusing to navigate. Various links to parts of that site frustratingly redirect to the main page. Does it matter whether someone is a Mexican citizen or not? (When they're bringing their pet reptile into Mexico).
