Belize: public vs private heatlh care facilities:
What do you expect? You are telling me you go to a third world country, and expect them to have the same health care system than the States for free. Com' on man you must be kidding me right, I thought people who moves to any other country, 1st world country, or third world country have to buy private health care insurance in case they become sick. So what is the problem?

In reply to your comment regarding Allan is a doctor therefore, he knows best. All this guy been doing is criticizing every thing about the country. I am wondering what kind of person does such thing, ever since I have been reading this forum, he always has something negative to criticizing about. He sounds like a very bitter, lonely, isolated person that is mad about every thing, I know there are always two sides to a story, maybe he had bad experiences, but we all had bad experiences in our life, to keep lamented about it for years to come not going to solve the problems.

Well, personally, I know I would never rely on Canadian, and American people for their opinions. As a Canadian myself, I can tell you my experience with the majority of Canadians, and Americans had been very bad. They tend to be very bias, narrow minded, ignorant, and racists. People who have these kind of attitudes will never be happy anywhere therefore, they would always be miserable, and try to make others miserable as well. Their main goal when they move or go somewhere, is to have the same mentality than back home, big box stores such as Wall mart, KFC, Home Depot...they forget that they moved to a third world country, and these countries are a place where to be lay back, down to earth, and cool. The majority of people in North America are type A they cannot live in a lay back country without been miserable, they need to stay in North America, The third world countries are not made for people who was born with privilege such as been white, having every thing they wanted, been spoiled as a child etc. The majority of the people in the third world countries have nothing, yet they are more happy than the majority of people in North America. They are genuine, friendlier, reliable, and they have a sense of community which doesn't exist in North America. In general, people who come from North America take every thing for granted, they don't see beauty in anything...instead they tend to constantly complaining, criticizing the countries who welcomed them with open arms, I am a Black woman, who was born in Canada, even in the 21st century, white people in Canada still considering all Black people are refugees, stupid, and criminals seriously, they still have that bias, racist mentality if you are not white then you are inferior, and not good enough, they forget one thing no one forced them to move to these places. As a woman who lives in Ottawa, ON, Canada I don't go out at night because I don't feel safe, Ottawa is the capital of the country yet it's so unsafe specially for women,
Belize: Boomer couple from LA:
It's always amuse me to see people who are from United States, and Canada expect to find the same way of living in a third world country. Seriously, after reading your auto-bibliography where stated that you are not a sociable couple, you seem to be somewhat very narrow minded. I think travelling abroad, or making a move to a new environment require one to be open minded, sociable, lay back, and easy going, Above all, we must be respectful of the people's culture where we moved to. I am in Canada and thinking of moving to Belize in the near future, lots of people in this forum do not seem to get it when they compare third world countries to North America, United States, and Canada are infested with crimes, thieves, infrastructure problems...I think we need to be real here after all, if life is that great at home why move to a third country for?
Belize: Well said to Steve:
Well if you want the big box chain stores, the same than you are accustom to why didn't you stay in the States? Now you want to dictate to the third world countries how to govern their countries. These third world countries did not asked you to moved to their countries, and if you don't like it you can always move back to the States. It is really disrespectful on your part to want other countries to be the same than the United States. Have you watch the news lately? You have a crazy man by the name of trump who is a total dictator, a bullied, a total idiot who is driving every one with common sense, and values nuts including the media. Is that what you want the third world countries to become? Personally, I think these third world countries should make sure they have some kind of text to see how most people reason before letting them into the country. It is making me sick to see ignorant people like yourself who had been probably a nuisance in their country of origin, moved to other part of the world, and continuing to be a nuisance. Seriously, life is so darn short why don't your people give it a break, and stop nagging about every little thing, and enjoying life. All of your people who is complaining was never happy back home, and maybe could not survive financially either which is the case for lot of us, instead of counting your blessings that you are healthy, beautiful weather, friendly people...and you are even more bless if you have your loved ones with you.
