Jamaica: To Rent or to Own - Montego Bay:

I am interested in moving from the US to Montego Bay. Below are my top concerns: -Healthcare: I am diabetic and I would need quality healthcare and access to medications -To Rent or to Buy - Is it more feasible to rent or buy a home as a first time international expat? - Education: My daughter is 4 and I would like to move in 2 years. What are the most recommended schools? Also, what is the US tuition rates? -Crime - What areas are most safe in Montego Bay?

Jamaica: First Steps before Moving:

I am thinking of moving to Montego Bay and would my main concerns are: - Healthcare: I'm diabetic and need medication and monitoring -Education: My daughter is 4 and I would prefer international schools; what's the recommendations and tuition rates -To Rent or To Buy - Which is better? Home or Rental Property? - Dual Citizenship? - Is that available for US Citizens? What's the benefit? -Taxes - If I remain a US Citizen and keep my business in the US but live in Jamaica, how does that go? Will I be double taxed?

Jamaica: Thinking about moving from US to Montego Bay:

I visited Jamaica back in Nov. 2016 for vacation and loved it. I fell in love with the culture and people; now I am seriously considering moving there. I currently live in MD, I'm 32, single, and I have a 4 year old daughter. I wanted to sell my home and transfer all my assets to Jamaica to live on. My top concerns are: whether to rent or buy a home; educational system, I am diabetic and I need quality healthcare, and cost of living.
