Dominican Republic: Looking for Expat expertise end of April!:

Hello and Welcome, my wife and I are new to site also, sounds like we are looking for the same thing. We are coming from BC and will be in same research mode as yourself at the beginning of May. I have posted here with not many responses, my wife got on a different expat forum and had better luck, more responses. Sure you are tired of the Seattle rain as we are the BC snow living on a ski hill. Dominican Republic: Checking out Las Terranas:

Hello all My Wife and I are visiting Las Terranas in May and have been doing a fair share of research. We have recently sold our home and are thinking of re-locating. We are looking at all options, real estate and business oportunities. During our 2 week stay we plan on driving around so we could get to know the area and see if the DR is right for us. We do like to be off the beaten path without compromising safety. Any general information is appreciated, areas where expats hang out, great restaraunts, fish market etc Thanks
