Chile: Rental accommodation: pets and wifi:

Hi, new to the forum and planning on coming to Chile within the year. I have a few questions about rental accommodation which I hope someone can help me with. Is accommodation in Chile usually pet-friendly (for a small dog) ? I would be starting out in Santiago and then hoping to move to the Lakes District. I would be looking for either a small flat or a house share. What kind of wifi speeds are you likely to get? I need a stable 10MPs connection for work. Is this a reasonable expectation?
