Norway: Thinking to move to Kristiansand:

I am thinking of a move to Kristiansand, I have family in Norway from Hamer, Tonsberg and Kristiansand. I have been coming over for years as holidays and decided Kristiansand is where I want to be. I'm wondering about if its a good idea as I would be taking my son with me he is 11 and starting high school this year, has anyone moved out there with children of this age? I work in the Salmon industry here in Shetland what are the job prospects in the area? Thankyou for any replies Richard
