Italy: Checking our Florence:

Hi, we're a semi retired couple -work virtually and were looking to live in Florence for 2 months to test it out ( only have 90 days, unless someone can say differently). Where is a nice place to live/ where isn't it nice? Don't mind walking into the center and around. Any opinions.... or do you know of any apartments available from Sept. 1 to Nov 1. Thank you, Gayle

Hi, We are a semi retired couple wanting to stay in Florence for 2 months -- Sept and Oct. , renting a 1 bedroom apartment. If we love it were' considering longer visits. We have been there are tourists a few times, but do not know the residential areas. Are there any recommendations as to where to live/ or NOT to? We like to walk so we really don't mind a 15 to 20 walk into town. Thank you if you can help us determine where to stay -
