Kenya: living costs in Nairobi:

Hi folks, I am considering accepting a role in a startup business based somewhere in Kenya. I have many questions, but the main one initially is to ascertain the ( rough ) cost of renting a furnished 2 bedroom apartment in a safe, expat friendly neighbourhood of Nairobi ( Westlands ?? ). I am an experienced expat and understand that there are a number of issues that I will face initially, work visa, car, insurance etc etc. Any advice on these issues is most welcome. I assume the role could be based in Nairobi but that is not essential so any suggestions on other expat friendly cities would be a great help. I am really at the start of my research and I appreciate any help you can give in advance. Many thanks, Dave.
