Belize: Moving in 2018:

My family and I (myself, wife and three kids under 10) from Canada want a change from the go go go life of North America and would like to move to Belize to a more relaxing and slow moving way of life. We are open to almost any options as far as where to live in Belize, rent/own a residence, start a new business/buy an existing business and even what business area to get into. This is why we have given ourselves over a year to get everything figured out before the actual move. As part of our research, we would like to get some info from families that have already done what we are attempting to do so we know what we are in for and what problems we can avoid. We also would like to make some friends online and then connect with when we go down to look around prior to moving. Any information or contacts would greatly be appreciated. We are planning a working vacation likely this fall. Thanks in advance for all the help!
