I've spent time in San Luis Potosi and liked it. Not many expats around as far as I can tell. Some drug violence around, but the people are really nice and hospitable. As I remember, it's more of a mountain type climate with average temps of 64 degrees.

I have a theory that the more questions one asks about a possible move to a foreign country, the less likely that one will actually make that move. Just my theory.
