Portugal: Electronics - US to PT:

We're moving to PT by the end of the year and wondering if we need to buy new TV, stereo, etc in PT because of the voltage difference. I know there are voltage converters but not sure if appropriate for long term use.

Portugal: Medical Coverage in Caldas da Rainha:

We are moving to the Caldas de Rainha area by the end of the year as well. We found and excellent Solicitara (legal rep) who is handling our house purchase, Visa applications, etc and providing good referrals for bi-lingual accountant (to assist with dual country tax filings) and a health insurance broker for supplemental private insurance. We just got proposals from Grupo Portinsurance that provided 3 options (with sub-optional coverages such as dental/periodontal to choose from and wide coverage. Portugal: Transporting dogs from the US:

Hi charliegirl, We are planning to move to Portugal by the end of this year and have 1 cat and 1 dog (who's name is Charlie and is a female - what a coincidence!) Wondering if you ever found a recommendation or who you ended up using, and if you were satisfied. Our "fur babies" are family members and very concerned about safe transport from the US to Portugal. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
