Nicaragua: Scaremongering, or...?:

Hi everyone. My name is Aidan. Please excuse me if this is a double-posting. Being new to the forum I may have prematurely posted just prior to this. I am seriously considering moving to Nicaragua this Oct. 2017. Whilst doing some research/homework, I came across this article http://tinyurl.com/grhrgqm and was wondering whether any current resident expats in Nicaragua had heard of these rumblings.
