Costa Rica: cell phone:
I am visiting for a week. A friend recommended buying a burner phone. I can't really decipher my notes from when I talked to her. We are flying into San Jose on Sunday, planning on renting a car if we can find one, and driving to caribbean coast.. i would assume buying a phone, if this is what i need to do, would be easier in capital? any thoughts, info very appreciated. this is a last-minute vacation and I am scrambling with planning it.
Costa Rica: Oxa forte:
I have a back that can go into spasm. It often happens when traveling after long plane trips. I am planning on surfing in CR. I don't think I can talk my doctor into supplying me with meds to take "just in case." I purchased oxa forte in the domincan republic for a similar reason. It def helped and I was able to enjoy my vacation, worry and pain free. I have received mixed info re whether oxa forte or aredol are available with a prescription in CR. Anyone have advice/answers? Thanks so much. p.s. I am NOT a drug addict, just an old mom whose body is a bit worse for wear these days.
Costa Rica: Prescription Med availability:
This post is a few years old, I am wondering if this is still case? I threw my back out this week, am leaving on Saturday, and super busy. I just made an appt with doc but nor sure I can make it. I really want to surf and with some good meds for a few days and exercise done properly, it usually clears up. I am worried it will act up because of plane travel. It would be great of I could buy something with codiene in it in case something comes up. I was able to buy oxa forte in DR last year and found it helpful...
