Tanzania: Working and living in Arusha:
Hi
Am assuming you're another Zimbabwean - we have just moved to Arusha from Dar.
Schools - would say either ISM Arusha campus (http://www.ismoshi.org/admissions/fees/) or Braeburn (http://www.arusha.braeburn.com/) are the schools of choice.
Medical aid - look into an international policy with BUPA/Aetna/Cigna/similar - local medical is not great and best is to head straight to Nairobi.
cheers
Sean.
Tanzania: Malaria in Arusha:
We are moving to Arusha this month, after four years of living in Dar es Salaam. Malaria was a big question for us with two kids roughly the same age, but we are assured that any malaria in Arusha is normally when people have been elsewhere and contracted it, then developed the symptoms once returning. Unlike Dar where it is rife, so it is a great incentive for our move.
Tanzania: Moving to Moshi:
Hi
We're looking to move to the Moshi / Arusha area if possible shortly as well. Currently living in Dar, but would like to get out. Doing an exploratory trip in a couple of weeks, will let you know how it goes, but it looks like costs of accomodation etc are way down on Dar.
cheers
Sean.
